CeraCare creates 10,000 new jobs
05 August 20
Further to our exciting progress in the UK we’re delighted to share that Cera, in collaboration with Kairos, the CareAcademy and Care.com, is creating 10,000 care jobs in the USA, training those who’ve recently been made unemployed to work in elderly care.

This effort is based on our successfully launched jobs creation platform in the UK alongside the UK Government’s Department of Health & Social Care.
In the past few months as a result of the ongoing pandemic, over 40 million Americans have lost their jobs. Now more than ever, home care recruitment should be at the forefront of the economic and social recovery. Workers are in high demand and there is a critical need to train and deploy thousands to the frontline as soon as possible.

Building on Cera’s experience in launching a similar scheme over the past two months, this groundbreaking ‘Home Care Heroes’ initiative across the US will help workers get back into employment during the current crisis, while supporting older people, and the American economy when it needs it most. At Cera, this is our first venture into the US, and we hope the first of many instances where we expand our reach, impact and transformation to an international level, supporting care sectors across the world in providing the best possible service to older and vulnerable people.

Together we are Cera, together we care better.
Very best wishes from the Cera Team
