Meet Matthias
Matthias founded yabeo Capital in early 2011 – based on 20 years’ experience in CEO and board member positions. He began his career at DMC Dresdner Management Consult and eventually became a board member at Heyde AG, DAB bank as well as the COO of Hypovereinsbank and later UniCredit Group before he became Xchanging plc’s Europe CEO and Xchanging Group board member. Matthias track record includes two IPOs: Heyde AG in 1998, followed by Xchanging’s IPO in 2009. Following the second IPO, he decided to apply his knowledge and experience to help young and innovative companies grow – and yabeo was born. Matthias is a family guy – he likes to spend his time with his family, enjoys sports, and breeds horses at his stud farm.

What was your vision when you founded yabeo?
Our goal was to develop an investment platform that enables institutional investors as well as family offices to invest their money in equity/holdings and real estate.
What are you proud of after more than 10 years of yabeo?
We have built a powerful portfolio management team that shares our vision and have been able to attract a large group of investors to the yabeo group.
